Media Arts Technology  Goals

(Adapted from ISTE Aligned Technology Standards)

• Students will use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity both individually as well as collaboratively online to support the new Common Core State Standards.

• Students will prepare publications, digital multimedia, and will produce other creative works such as visually stunning presentations and curriculum-based / content area websites.

• Students will use the internet to research information as well as a learning tool.

• Students will expand their visual world to enhance their learning and build on learning outcomes.

• Students will employ technology thoughtfully and collaborate with one another to enhance all curriculum areas.

• Students will tailor their searches online to acquire information efficiently and integrate what they learn using technology with what they learn offline.  

• Students will select and use those tools that are best suited to their communication goals.
